TOM at Kennesaw State University is a passionate community of students, faculty, and innovators dedicated to creating practical, affordable solutions that empower people with disabilities and improve quality of life for underserved populations. Inspired by the global TOM movement, our chapter brings together diverse talents, from engineering and design to health sciences and social work, to collaborate on impactful, human-centered projects.
We believe innovation is a shared responsibility and that meaningful change begins with empathy, creativity, and hands-on problem-solving. By connecting makers, users, and experts, TOM KSU fosters an inclusive environment where challenges become opportunities to build assistive technologies, adaptive devices, and open-source solutions.
Whether you’re a maker eager to tinker, a student looking to apply skills to real-world problems, or someone who wants to support social impact through technology, TOM at KSU welcomes you. Join us to learn, build, and contribute to a future where everyone has the tools they need to thrive.
