This community was founded in early 2021, in partnership with Makers Making Change, Ochsner Health, Cicada Architects, and various other local organizations. I was inspired by wanting to help a local Need-Knower who had a great project she needed design and prototyping help with. New Orleans is a city of makers, and has a deeply connected creative community. We hope to tap into the enormous creative talent locally to innovate some really great and fun new assistive technology.
