As a brand new TOM, Stanford is dedicated to fostering a collaborative environment where innovation meets empathy. Leveraging Stanford's rich ecosystem of interdisciplinary talent they will connect individuals with deep, lived experiences of disability (our "Need-Knowers") with a diverse group of engineers, designers, and problem-solvers. This initiative is focused on creating and disseminating public domain solutions to address the often-overlooked challenges faced by individuals with disabilities. With a set of diverse backgrounds and experience Stanford TOM members are committed to ensuring that every solution developed within this community is both impactful and sustainable. The program thrives with the support of Stanford's academic leadership, government partnerships, and contributions from the corporate and philanthropic sectors.
