The TOM community at Azrieli College of Engineering is a unique community that is part of a global network of volunteers and social entrepreneurs. The community consists of engineering students who combine their academic knowledge with a passion for meaningful social change. The location is at Azrieli College, which specializes in engineering studies.
Our ambition is to create projects that focus on the development of customized solutions for people with disabilities, while facing challenges that have no answer in the commercial market or that the existing solutions are too expensive. We believe that technology should be accessible to everyone, and work to create innovative, efficient and attainable solutions.
Through cooperation between the students, the professional mentors and the people for whom the solutions are developed, we will create products that not only solve technical problems, but also significantly improve the quality of life of the users. Our community is a clear example of how engineering education can lead to significant social change.
