TOM: University of Nebraska - Omaha is part of a global movement dedicated to creating, developing, and designing solutions for the neglected needs of individuals living with a disability. TOM works by connecting need-knowers (individuals living with a deep understanding of neglected challenges, often an individual living with a disability) with teams of makers (engineers, designers, developers, problem-solvers, OT’s etc.) to create public domain assistive technology solutions.
