We designed the product for all the amazing kids in the "Dreamy Costumes" project, that connecting between children that uses mobility aids and industrial design students for a great Purim celebration, by making costumes that includes the mobility aids.
Designed for the amazing children who participated in HIT’s Dream Costumes project, a program bringing together industrial design students and children with disabilities to design and create adaptive costumes. Centered around the Purim holiday, the effort was created to increase inclusion and joy with costumes that are build around/with the children’s mobility devices.
We needed an adaptive costume connector that allows quick and easy installation and removal of the costume from the mobility aid.
Using a 3d-printed Connector, a simple rubber band and a paper fastener, the Connector allows for an easy and comfortable connection between the costume and the mobility aid.
