Adjustable Cardboard Easel

Adjustable Cardboard Easel - open-source assistive technology prototype by the Adaptive Design Association community

About this project

The Adjustable Easel was developed to help support children with disabilities while studying remotely. The adjustable easel can be used in multiple positions and can hold a tablet or smartphone, as well as reading materials.

The challenge

Many children who are learning remotely do not have a proper set up at home to maximize learning opportunities. The adjustable easel is meant to support remote learning by providing a multi-position, adjustable easel that can hold tablets, smart phones and reading materials.

Who it helps

The adjustable cardboard easel was designed for children with disabilities in order to facilitate remote learning during the Covid-19 pandemic
