The challenge

Elsa doesn’t want to skate through life — she wants to ride it! Her dream? Turn her wheelchair into a freedom machine.

🎯 The challenge: Design a light, clever pedal system to attach to her wheelchair — so every spin feels like an adventure.

👧 For: Kids with reduced mobility who want more autonomy and fun on the move.

By pedaling, Elsa will partially control the drive wheel of her wheelchair, enabling her to participate more freely in her own movement.

We designed a light, adjustable and easy-to-assemble pedal system, that controls the wheelchair's motorized drive wheel.
