This GoPro Hero 5 Session set-up utilizes cameras for input, zooming into images and outputs them on the user’s mobile phone screen. It is developed for people with visual impairments, making it easier for them to identify street signs, license plates, and addresses which are far away. It prevents users from holding his/her phone up to zoom in on details, appearing more discreet and not looking touristy or lost.
Het challenge is to identify street signs, car plates, and models during travel.
Darcy Green has difficulty reading street signs while navigating to her destination.
