The challenge

US Census survey revealed that 4.8 percent (11.6 million) of US population use a cane, crutches, or walker to assist with mobility. People using crutches use both hands to operate crutches and they face problems when they have to carry cups and small items. For example, a person using crutches would have difficulty in carrying plate of food or a cup of coffee. Carriers do exist, but they aren’t spill-proof.

Who it helps

Daisy broke her femur and discovered that she couldn't carry coffee and use her crutches.
