The challenge

TJ is a Physical Program Supervisor at Neuability. He told us physical therapy is expensive and most people choose not to do it because of cost. 4.5 Billion people lack essential healthcare services which percolated the idea of a rehabilitation chair.

Who it helps

Individuals recovering from a muscular injury, Physical therapists, Elderly people

How it works

The Chairlift was designed to use minimal hardware and for a flat-pack fit making it cheap to produce and ship. An open source platform will be accessible to all and provide free exercise programs using the connection points of the chair.

Chairlift, a rehabilitation chair with modular connection points for attaching resistance bands for exercise. These strategically placed connection points provide every essential workout for a majority of injuries and produce limitless exercises.
