The team designed a device that recognizes her son’s voice and buzzes & flashes when he yells out, “Mom come”. The team also added a button that he can press instead of yelling.
The device will recognize some predefined words and flashing light. Computer with Sphynx for recognition and a DIY device for notifying Albena when her child wants to call her.
Albena is a deaf parent to a hearing child and she was looking for a way her child could call her when he needs help.
