Intended users of this Cup Holder and Handle Extension are individuals with limited finger dexterity or grip strength. This could lead to difficulty picking up and holding cups of various sizes.

The Shepherd Center strives to increase patients' independence when performing activities of daily living such as picking up and holding cups.

The Cup Holder and Handle Extension removes the need for full finger dexterity or grip strength when holding or picking up a tapered cup by using a cup holder and handle that does not require curling of the fingers.

The Cup Holder and Handle Extension is a one-size-fits-most, 3D- printed device that uses a C-shaped holder and hooked handle to allow the user to easily pick up and carry most cups.
