The swimming experience is difficult for both the user and the attendant and it involves holding the upper body by an attendant, using inflatable lifebuoys for toddlers and minimal movement in the water
Raz, a seven-year-old boy, suffering from Hikshi syndrome. This syndrome causes loss of the ability to move the lower body, partial head tilt and partial ability to speak.
The system we designed teaches, beyond the swimming aid, a healthy form of swimming for children with limitations, learning to keep the head above water, correct swimming form, etc.
Allow users with disabilities to move around on their own and learn how to navigate the water correctly and safely.
