Kneel-Flex - open-source assistive technology prototype by the TOM International Community community

The challenge

To assist her with providing self-care of her daughter

A single mother with a diagnosis of Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome currently experiences difficulty with bathing her daughter due to pain and hypermobility

To address this pain point, we have created a kneeling stool which hard cushions padding for knees and buttocks

We are offering a solution that will reduce pain and risk of injury when in the kneeling position
