PHONE HOLDER FOR AUTONOMOUS PHOTOGRAPHY

The challenge

Marc struggles manipulating and orienting his phone to take pictures. He needs the help of someone to do it for him and only when the phone is in the right position can he then take the picture.

Who it helps

Marc is passionate about photography. He uses his phone to take pictures because it is a way for him to express his emotions and his ideas in a creative way. Marc uses a wheelchair to move around and has limited mobility.

How it works

This solution offers an autonomous way for Marc and other Need-Knowers in the same situation to take pictures, therefore expressing themeselves and their creativity.

We are designing a device that attaches a mobile phone to a wheelchair. It allows the user to manipulate, chose the orientation of the phone and take a picture easily without having to hold the phone. It can be attached and removed from the wheelchair.
