PonyPal

PonyPal - open-source assistive technology concept by the New York University community

The challenge

Jessica has not found a way that works for her to be able to put her hair up in a ponytail. The very few products that already exist don't work well, and she needs a solution to get her hair up and out of her face when she is working out/playing sports.

Who it helps

Jessica was born with only one arm.

How it works

The PonyPal is a way for someone to be able to put their hair up into a tight ponytail without requiring any tricky maneuvers or high dexterity.
