The project began in a Tom Makeathon after the group was joint we've made few basic meeting and discussed the idea we want to develop, but the main work happened during the Makeathon. In the future, we would like to develop the machine learning algorithm that will help the therapist to achieve the clinical knowledge he desires from the daily walk of the patient. The device will detect the falling of the patient and automatically will call an emergency service.
Providing and enabling the need for assisting safe walking patterns, thus helping prevent falls
Yaacov Flisher is the initial need-knower, diagnosed with Parkinson disease, asked us to find a solution to his frequent falls, making him more in control and confident of his walk, aspiring him growing independence.
