The team wanted to find a way for him to be able to stand up by himself, even when he's not at home. The team designed a much lighter version of the standing device, which can also easily be folded and used for travel.
He has only one way to stand up on his own: using a device which is bulky and heavy and cannot be moved without a van.
Guy has Cerebral Palsy.
