The Toothbrush Stand is a small, 3D printed device that stabilized a toothbrush on a flat surface, allowing the user to easily apply toothpaste with one hand.

Intended users of this Toothbrush Holder are individuals with hemiplegia, paralysis on one side of the body.

How it works

The Shepherd Center strives to increase patients' independence when performing activities of daily living such as using a toothbrush.

The Toothbrush Holder limits the need for two-handed toothpaste application by using an angled holder rather than a vertical holder.

The Toothbrush Holder is a small, 3D printed device that uses a large base and angled holder to allow the user to easily apply toothpaste with one hand.
