The Dressing Tool is a handheld, 3D printed device that uses an extension with various hooks and ridges that can grab and manipulate edges of sleeves, zippers, and more.

The Shepherd Center strives to increase patients' independence when

performing activities of daily living such as putting on and taking off

clothing items.

dexterity or range of motion. This could lead to difficulty when dressing

oneself.

Intended users of this Dressing Tool are individuals with limited hand dexterity or range of motion. This could lead to difficulty when dressing oneself.

The Shepherd Center strives to increase patients' independence when performing activities of daily living such as putting on and taking off clothing items.

The Dressing Tool limits the need for fine motor movement or range of motion when dressing by using an extension to pull up pants, pull down sleeves, zippers, and other tasks.
