Team Crush
About this project
The team created two pill crushing and delivery devices with non-stick materials and tools to gather any remaining medication: (1) adapted a mortar & pestle that is made of ceramic to also act as a syringe and (2) designed a syringe with a small mortar & pestle at the top and a small tool to scrape out any remaining medication.
The challenge
The process of crushing pills is inefficient and time consuming. Current methods include mortar and pestle and the pill crushing and delivery syringe.

The need knowers are people who crush their pills.
