The challenge

There is no affordable, reliable scale for wheelchair users today; existing ones cost $500–$2500 and are found only in select hospital units.

Who it helps

Individuals in manual wheelchairs (scale weighs up to150 kg).

How it works

Upscale 2.0 will allow wheelchair users to easily use a standard home scale to monitor their weight.

A surface add-on for a home scale making it accessible to people in wheelchairs.
