Yale University

New Haven, United States of America

Yale’s TOM chapter began as a chapter of E-nable, an organization that makes open source hand prosthetics. A few years ago, Yale E-Nable expanded to work on a wider range of accessibility solutions. We have since built a prosthetic to help a girl play violin (this made it to the cover of the Yale Engineering Magazine!), a device to allow someone with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy eat by himself, and several 3D designed hands for children in the New Haven community.

We are excited to expand to work with TOM Global to get more projects to work on, upload our designs to TOM’s website, and be part of this great community!
