3D Printed ATM For Kids - open-source assistive technology prototype by the Cal State University San Marcos community

The challenge

This project was brought up by one of the educational counselor for the younger individuals that have autism. The idea of this project is to teach how to do day to day transactions. To simplify and make it fun how to understand money.

Who it helps

Teri Campus of Life is an organization that houses and educates individuals that are born with autism from 6 years old to 60 years of age. Their goal is to give those with disabilities the same happy life that we all should have equally.

How it works

The solution addresses the challenge by simplifying the teaching method of how money works by having an 3D printed box that interacts with the individual like an ATM.

The solution is to have an easier understanding of money for kids that suffer with autism. It will be a more interactive and fun experience for the individuals.
