3D Printed Prosthetic Arm for Carrying

3D Printed Prosthetic Arm for Carrying - open-source assistive technology concept by the TOM International Community community

The challenge

This design will allow amputees to perform duties and tasks that will allow the Need Knowers to apply for jobs and gain new independency.

Who it helps

With an increase in machete violence in certain areas, individuals are left dependent on their care takers. These individuals depend on functional prosthetics that allow them to perform certain tasks that they could then get paid for.

How it works

This design will be allow the user to carry objects out in front of the user.

A functional prosthetic arm for amputees with little to no arm from the shoulder. These individuals are highly reliant on their caretakers and often cannot perform tasks that will allow them to maintain work.
