Wifi Glasses

Wifi Glasses - open-source assistive technology prototype by the Cal State University San Marcos community

The challenge

When meeting with Teri Campus of Life one of the difficulties they had was having more supervision for their students so the idea came to use smart glasses that can alert a close by counselor that their individual is leaving the perimeter or is in danger.

Who it helps

Teri Campus of Life is an organization that houses and educates individuals that are born with autism from 6 years old to 60 years of age. Their goal is to give those with disabilities the same happy life that we all should have equally.

How it works

This solution will address the challenge by being able to alert the counselor that their individual is in danger or is in an area that they are not suppose to be in.

The solution being offered is to have extra safety for those that watch over people with disabilities in case they wander outside the viewing range of the person watching over them.
