The challenge
We seek to better Marlon's quality of life, as well as that of his boss, fellow employees and his mother, by making his day yo day task more effective. Doing all of this through an app that will help us give him constant reminders of his tasks.
Who it helps
Meet Marlon Gallo, a 38-year-old man who has a mental disability that was recently exacerbated by a car accident. He resides in Medellin with his mother and is currently employed at a grocery store called D1.
How it works
The solution we provide is a calendar app designed for Marlon to use in his day-to-day tasks. With this app, Marlon's schedule will be easy to manage. When it's time for him to start a task, an audio will notify him, eliminating the need from direct orders
Our group proposes to develop an app that will enable us to monitor Marlon's tasks. With this app, his mom, and his boss can provide audio reminders to Marlon throughout the day to help him stay on track and complete his tasks effectively.
