Jander's Routines

Jander's Routines - open-source assistive technology prototype by the Medellín community

About this project

The idea was to have two different devices, one that could be used for home, and another portable one that can be taken anywhere. The large board is a rectangle with dimensions of 120 cm by 60 cm. It has two large rectangles of magnetic strip glued up top which is the place to connect the elements of space and time, in other words where the action is going to be taken and where. Then smaller square like magnetic strips that allow the addition of the action cards. This model also includes some small square shaped cut outs that will allow the need knower to mark his completed tasks. The smaller version of the device is very similar, but instead of having the magnetic strips of the actions in a straight line, they are divided in two lines, to be able to fit in a smaller form factor.

The challenge

Jander needs a device that allows him

Who it helps
