This device helps visually impaired and blind people to use text to speech apps on their smartphones. Text2Speech is a special stand on which the smartphone can be placed at the exact location and distance from the paper.
TOM:Milbat wanted to design a product to enable the Blind and Visually Impaired to easily and accurately position their phones in order to use a text-to-speech software.
Milbat is a nonprofit public organization operating throughout Israel to enable people with deterioration in their function to enjoy maximum independence by creating an adapted technological environment for them. Milbat employs a team of rehabilitation experts and 600 volunteers who combine knowledge in rehabilitation and technology to supply information and to counsel people with disabilities of all ages in order to improve their function and quality of life.

Text2speech is a device that was made in order to help visually impaired and blind people use text to speech apps on their phones.
The product is a stand on which a smartphone can stand and be placed in the exact location and distance needed.
To build this product, please download the product file, DFX files, and STL files. Please take adequate safety precautions when using manufacturing equipment.
