Caregivers are prone to physical injuries due to the physically demanding nature of their job. Some of their main tasks include lifting and transferring patients from either the bed or wheelchair to their desired locations.
People who are taking care of the elderly or patients with mobility challenges.
By raising the height of the person sitting on the wheelchair as well as providing a tilt towards the caregiver, caregivers no longer need to physically strain themselves to lift the person up and can just hook them off the wheelchair do the transfer.
We are making an assistive lifting equipment that reduces the amount force that is required from the caregivers when performing their tasks. The solution can be readily integrated into any wheelchair.
