PillPal

PillPal - open-source assistive technology prototype by the TOM International Community community

The challenge

Many of the elderly are prescribed with 5 or more long term medications per day.We aim to ease the burden on both the elderly as well as

their care takers. Not only will they be on track with their medication, but they can also have a stress free vacation.

Who it helps

Elderly who wish to travel but are prescribed with multiple medications.

How it works

This device will remind elderly to take their medication on time by dispensing the given dosage at pre-set times with an in-built alarm system. In addition, caregivers do not have to pre-sort individual dosages.
