Aid for hypotonia
About this project
The intended user is a 4-year-old girl with SMA type 2 without muscle strength to hold her head against gravity influence. Even when she does get into the position, she doesn’t have the endurance to maintain the position for a prolonged period of time in order to perform certain tasks such as reading, drawing, playing, etc.
The challenge
Out makers will make an aid that will help her to hold her head despite gravity and enable her to the mentioned activities and many other.
Who it helps
Anastasija is our need knower that has hypotonia and it is really hard for her to have her head steady in any position other than straight up. This makes activities like reading and drawing almost impossible.
