About this project
The team designed a simple, safe, light and reliable arm rest to help Bridget move from her wheelchair to the toilet.
The challenge
While she is otherwise independent and self-reliant, the challenge of safely moving herself from the chair to the toilet seat is really dreadful. Some existing solutions are impractical in terms of their size or the cumbersome process that she needs to go through to use them.
Who it helps
Bridget uses a wheelchair every day of her life.
