Charlie Talks

About this project

The solution is a mobile application on a Tablet (Samsung Tab A6) with didactic buttons that are easy to use. Within the interactivity of the app, sounds are heard and their favorite colors were used to make it more attractive.

The challenge

Due to this, the formation of an application as an assistant for speech problems was decided. This is considered as an alternative language therapy, which by showing and repeating sounds and images can assimilate them.

Who it helps

Carlos is a child who has both learning and communication problems due to consequences of the dengue virus contraction (A viral infection transmitted by mosquitoes), this was caused when he was only 11 months old. The type of virus was hemorrhagic dengue, which produced a stroke that inflamed the left lobe of Carlos's brain. This produced an alteration in the motor skills (not being able to walk), lack of toilet training, hyperactivity and important affectations in the cognitive area (lack of comprehension and fluency of the words).
