Cuddly

Cuddly - open-source assistive technology working model by the Hod Hasharon community

The challenge

This project provides a safe, calming space for children with sensory disorders, autism, ADHD, and anxiety to regulate their emotions. It also offers typically developing children a quiet area to relax.

Who it helps

The potential users are children with sensory disorders, autism, ADHD, anxiety, and typically developing children needing a quiet space.

How it works

The solution will address the challenge by providing a controlled environment where children can calm down, regulate their emotions, and manage sensory input, reducing stress and improving focus and well-being.

The solution is to create a small, dedicated sensory-emotional regulation space in the kindergarten to help children manage their emotions and sensory input.
