Eric's gloves - open-source assistive technology working model by the Shenkar College community

About this project

The team created hard-wearing wheelchair gloves that are suitable for people with quadriplegia or tetraplegia and those with limited mobility. They are designed to offer maximum protection in any weather, especially during the winter. This glove supports the use of polyurethane rubber, Leather, Velcro, and Nylon fabric for waterproof quality.

Who it helps

Eric is quadriplegic and bound to a wheelchair with an assisting motor, he uses his fingertips and elbow to spin the wheels.
