This product is comprised of two different styles of 3D-printed control knobs which can replace existing knobs, allowing for greater usability for people with limited dexterity. Simply remove your existing control knob and slide this one on, no need for glue or tools. The knobs were made specifically to fit Pioneer XDJ-RX2, but can work with any "D shaft" style knob attachments.
As part of the recovery process, Rotem wished to get back to his work and hobby as a DJ. These knobs allow Rotem, and anyone with limited dexterity or eyesight, to to use their existing musical equipment with greater ease.
This product was modified from Rotem's Inclusive DJ Controller Kit. It was originally developed for Rotem, a professional DJ with a physical disability making it difficult for him to turn the knobs on the controller panel.
The extended shape of the knobs enable the user to turn them without a pinch motion.
2 sets of adaptive knobs: one features a solid construction with a small directional indicator, and the other is a two-part construction for printing in 2 colors. Designed to fit Pioneer XDJ-RX2, these can work with any "D shaft" style knob attachment.
