About this project

The Lifting Table solution will allow moving from different heights independently, and reach places that were less accessible until now.

The challenge

Taubahan is missing both his legs and one arm below the elbow.

Taubahan cannot reach objects above his height like a table or sink and can't climb to the toilet or wheelchair without asking for help.

The Lifting Table was designed with and for Taubahan Onalhan who is missing both his legs and one arm below the elbow

and cannot reach objects above his height or climb to his wheelchair without asking for help.

The team developed the solution as part of the TOM Global Innovation Challenge (which they won an honorable mention 👏) and was led by:
