This project is needed because it creates an accessible way for families to integrate wheelchairs seamlessly into their daily life. Reduces strain on parents with children with wheelchairs.
Started with a military family who has a child with a disability in a wheelchair and a newborn on the way, looking to find a way to connect the wheelchair and stroller in a way that allows her to get all her tasks done.
This solution allows her to push both at the same time without making either wider, allowing her to go through doors and accomplish errands effectively
The solution is a 3D printed adjustable attachment device that connects to the wheelchair and baby carrier with the baby carrier in front, so that Miriam can push both at the same time.
