Team Omar

Team Omar - open-source assistive technology challenge by the TOM Israel community community

The challenge

Most solutions available today are for people with one hand. In the next Developers groups, we will design a device that allows amputees to wear pants without the use of hands.

Who it helps

Less than a year ago, Omar Kabaha, a 22-year-old from Barta’a, was injured in a work accident. Consequently, both hands were amputated above the elbow.
