The Egg Kitchen Helper
The challenge
When mixing in a bowl, he needs a second person to hold
on to the bowl because a rubber mat is not always enough to hold it in place. Otherwise, he
leans onto the bowl and holds it with his upper body and the less dominant arm.
Who it helps
Access Inc. runs programs which help young adults with disabiliƟes to build skills
and confidence, and foster a sense of belonging in the community. A parƟcipant in their cooking
classes has minimal use of one hand.
How it works
The Egg Kitchen Helper address es key design let downs of other products that have tried to solve similar issues such as: Food Safe, Easily Cleanable, Dishwasher Safe, Reliable and stable, Light Weight, Easy One Handed Install and removal.
The Egg Kitchen Helper is a simple product that is designed to keep a mixing bowl steady on a bench or table top, eliminating the need to hold the bowl while mixing.
