She wants to regain the feeling of reading a book. This will help her gain in autonomy and allow her to do her hobby.
Rivka suffers from spinal muscular atrophy and has always loved reading. Due to her disability, she can't use her hands to hold a book and turn the pages. She needs help from someone else if she wants to read one.
The wheel attached to a servomotor will lift the page and leave enough space to allow the other servomotor to turn the page. The two other servomotors will be there to hold the book in place when put on the book holder.
We are offering a book holder equipped with a mechanism that can lift and turn a page. It would be activated with eye detection using the camera of a laptop.
