Brace for strenuous work
The challenge
Oren's day-to-day activities as a combat and shooting instructor require him to work at fast pace under pressure. His current brace makes it very difficult to work strenuously for long periods of time. Oren is seeking a system which will protect his leg while allowing him to do his job in an optimal manner.
Who it helps
Oren Shem Tov, shooting and fighting instructor, was wounded during Operation Defensive Shield while leading a night mission. Oren suffered a severe injury in his left knee, among other injuries. Surgery and long rehabilitation failed to restore his knee to its previous functionality. Today, he walks with a brace which fixes his leg in a set position at a 30-degree angle.
