Button (Large Adaptive Switch) - open-source assistive technology prototype by the University of Delaware community

The challenge

This project was designed to create a substitute for existing expensive solutions. AMT Club was using adaptive buttons for Go-Baby-Go style cars and wanted a cost-effective solution to make these projects accessible to more kids.

Who it helps

This button has a wide variety of potential users. Anyone who could use a large button to activate electronics such as Go-Baby-Go style cars, electronic toys, etc.

How it works

The large surface area and soft TPU springs allow the button to be easily pressed
