To facilitate patient's easy mobility and foster independence, a solution is required to swiftly and conveniently remove and place the tray. This solution should be operable with just one hand.
The solution comprises two primary parts: the rider and the tray. The rider is positioned on the chair's arm and is secured in place by straps and a fastening screw. two hinges connect the rider with a Perspex tray in order to support the patients hand.
rotatable Perspex tray serves as a support for an paralyzed hand, employing a mechanism similar to that of a student table, allowing a rotation of 270-degree to the side of the chair. This design allows for simpler and more efficient transitions.
