This is a 3D-printed guitar pick holder attachment that connects to the TOM Parametric Arm Prosthesis enabling an amputee to pluck strings on a guitar.
To play a guitar independently, players need to press selected strings against frets while simultaneously plucking the strings at the other end. For someone with only one hand, this poses a challenge!
The Guitar Pick End Unit is a 3D-printed attachment to the TOM Parametric Arm Prosthesis that enables the use of one or two guitar picks by an amputated arm.
This project was designed and developed with Moshe Levi, a below-the-elbow amputee who hoped to play guitar.
**This end unit is an attachment only. Click here to see the TOM Parametric Arm Prosthesis base unit product page.
This project was designed and developed with Moshe Cohen, a below-the-elbow amputee who hoped to play guitar.
