The challenge

Mai is a soldier who was injured in a traffic accident. She is looking for a solution for the daily activity of gatherng her hair using her healthy hand. Her hair is straight and thin, and the existing solutions in the library were not helpful for her.

The product is intended for individuals who have difficulty gathering their hair independently using one hand due to a permanent or temporary impairment affecting one upper limb.

How it works

The temporary clamp securely holds the gathered hair during the transition from gathering to fastening, eliminating the need to maintain the hair with a second hand. This enables users to gather and secure their hair independently using only one hand.

The proposed solution combines a hair clip with a temporary hair clamp mounted on an elastic loop. The elastic loop is placed around the hair, and the temporary clamp is used to hold the gathered hair in place while the hair clip is secured. Once the clip
