Ramp Siding
The challenge
In order to get his wheel chair anywhere he goes, Declan's family uses a carrier connected to the hitch of their car. The ramp of this carrier in not wide and if the wheelchair goes off track someone needs to support the entire 300+ pounds to put it back.
Who it helps
Declan is an 11 year old boy with Duchenne's Muscular Dystrophy. He uses a wheelchair while out and about.
How it works
The solution prevents the wheelchair from going off the ram and therefore prevents anyone from needing to carry the weight of the chair.
We are providing siding for Deklan's wheelchair ramp and carrier that connects to the hitch of his family's car.
