During class, Abed sits on an uncomfortable plastic student chair that is not padded. In addition, the chair is not suitable for Abed's body, which may contribute to the disease's development.
Abed, a 20-years-old architecture student, lives with his family in the north of Israel. Abed has a rare syndrome called FOP (Fibrodysplasia ossificans progressiva). This syndrome makes it difficult for him to dress, bend down and sit comfortably.
We provide a portable and comfortable backrest that fits Abed's sitting position and measurements and actually solves the problem of prolonged sitting.
The solution we offer is a portable backrest adapted to Abed's measurements, and suitable to his student chair at the college.
